Kathryn Stapelman ~ Owner/Photographer
For years Kathryn had been doing freelance work and had seen many different facets of photography. She started Simply Unique because she wanted to bring something back that was missing... the honesty and innocence of the person being photographed.
Kathryn brings a fresh approach to the "posed shot". For her the posed shots just don't seem like they tell the whole story. She wanted her clients and others to be able to look at their photographs and not just see those emotions but to be able to relive them again.
Kathryn says "It's not just a picture. It's a brief moment in time when everything stands still. And it's that brief moment that you want to capture that one feeling or expression the client is feeling. I want my clients to be happy but I also want them to have a memory that will last everytime they look at that picture."
